I don’t really love boba tea.

I tried plenty when they took off in America, and was not impressed.

So I have sort of stayed away from them.

But there seems to be a resurgence, and Bite&Tea in Bristol has one that is so good I can’t stay away.

But Bite&Tea is a “street food” place, so we had to try at least a little food.

Red Oil Wonton (Pork & Veg)

The wrapper on these wontons is distractingly thick and gummy, overshadowing the decent filling.

The red oil brings a nice, almost throat-catching heat, but it’s not enough to elevate the dense wrapper.

They are fine.

Brown Sugar Fresh Milk Pearl

Wow.

A decaf tea with milk and amazing little brown sugar pearls.

The sweetness might be too much for some, but the brown sugar pearls steal the show with their exceptional flavor.

The tea and milk blend is refreshing, making this drink a standout treat.

Boba is back!
