On the search for the best Indian food in Connecticut brings us to Mumbai Times in Cos Cob.

Here, the lunch boxes come with dal (yellow lentils in sauce), rice, naan, a side special of the day, and your choice of entree.

The meats tend to be just the same meat in different sauces.

The chicken (Chicken Chettinad in this case), was unquestioningly the least wonderful part of the meal.

Though well cooked, the sauce may just not be my style, it was still good however.

The Dal was good, the naan was wonderful.

The best part of the meal was the chana (chickpea stew) which was just incredible.

Even a single gulab jamun (dough ball in honey syrup) in the middle for dessert was there.

Honestly, this is a must-stop for lunch.
