I’ve previously profiled the amazing Seven Flavor Wonton’s at Shu in West Hartford.

Which means, every time I go, it’s what I’m excited to get and mostly pay attention to.

But now they have a special, that is only available on weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) that is even better.

Peking duck

These are just incredible.

I unfortunately missed the opportunity to snap a pic of the duck as it came out.

The duck is whole roasted and then sliced at the table.

The sliced with healthy chunks of crispy skin are tucked into wraps with a bean paste, zucchini, and bean sprouts.

The meat is a breath away from too dry, which is perfectly taken care of by the black bean sauce.

The crispy skin is wonderful ad tucked into every roll.

Even the zucchini and bean sprouts add a freshness to the rolls they make.

A whole Duck will run you $58, while a half one will cost $30.

It’s worth it.
