On the search for the best burrito in Connecticut brings us to Mil Sabores in Bridgeport.

There are signs everywhere in this Mexican/Venezuelan restaurant about the Birria.
They even have a whole section of their menu dedicated to birria.

So when looking to try the burrito, why not go with birria?
Birria Burrito
Okay, the shell to these burritos is pretty amazing.
It’s flaky and adds a nice flavor and texture.
The burrito itself is also very good.
There is a huge section of lettuce dominating the insides, which creates a giant dry patch.
The birria is excellent. Heavier allspice flavor than I like but undeniably tasty.
The main issue, as I’ve found in many CT spots, is the ratios of meat to fillings.
Way too much lettuce and spots where there is nearly no meat don’t make for the most consistent eatin experience.
But the flavor is there.
I suspect that while the burrito is definitely solid, the tacos would be even better.
