Hearing a lot about Randy’s Wooster Street Pizza in Manchester, we have to try it.
If nothing else to see if there is a New-Haven-style pizza in the north of the state worth the drive.

With many options here, we first heard about this place as having good wings.
And what would a trip be without trying the fried mozz?
Luckily, The Fry Guy is an appetized sampler with a few options:
Mac and cheese bites
Ugh. Kraft mac & “cheese”.
Deep fried.
That’s about all you need to know.

Mozz sticks
Not bad.
The only way Mozz Sticks go wrong is if they aren’t cheese enough or not cooked enough.
Neither is a problem here.
So pretty standard mozz sticks.

Fried ravioli
These fried ravioli are doughy and nice.
It tastes exactly what it soungs like.
The fact that there is only cheese inside is a little boring, so it could use more.
But good overall.

Okay, so the Fry Guy appetizer was fine, but a little disappointing.
Next stop is the wings.
We got both buffalo and Mango Habanero.
Traditional Buffalo wings
Meh.
These were super light on the sauce.
The flavor is a little bit powdery with no depth of flavor outside of heat.
Overall a pass

Mango habanero wings
Best thing we ate here.
These wings have a decent spice with a nice sweetness.
They blend very well.
A nice char from grilling provides some more flavor yet the wings stay tender.
Good.

Pizza
Now for the main attraction.
You can sort of see the ‘Wooster style’ with an ultra thin crust.
The red peppers are a disappointment, tasting almost like straight out of the jar at the last minute.
There isn’t a lot of sauce or cheese, which keeps it crisp.
Good, but nothing great.
