Our journey brings us to Max Burger, a well-renowned establishment known for its innovative take on classic American fare. Let’s delve in.

Short Rib Nachos

Starting our adventure with the Short Rib Nachos, we were greeted with a bit of a letdown.

The chips, slightly stale, were layered with nacho cream-sauce and largely devoid of the short rib.

Unmelted shredded cheese chunks were another misstep, but a hint of spice was fine.

Rating: Short Rib Nachos

Pulled Pork Spring Rolls

Things began to look up with the Pulled Pork Spring Rolls.

The flavorful filling or pork and cabbage is paired well with the zingy sriracha mayo.

The result is tasty, but these get soggy very fast so should only be ordered in-house.

Rating: Pulled Pork Spring Rolls

Next up are the burgers, and there are a lot of options.

But for dine-in are also the daily special “chalkboard burgers”.

Chalkboard Burgers

In each iteration of these daily specials the patties are what stand out.

The meat is perfectly cooked and well-seasoned.

The flaky and airy buns, however, let the overall experience down slightly.

Through many iterations, they always ten to be pretty good, but nothing exceptional.

Rating: Chalkboard Burgers

Tater Tots

The Tater Tots hit the mark.

Delightfully crispy, they were well-salted and had a satisfying crunch.

A word of advice: to ensure they don’t get too soggy, order them well done if you are ordering takeout or delivery.

Rating: Tater Tots

Pulled Pork Sliders

The Pulled Pork Sliders are possibly the best thing on the Max Burger menu.

The meat is encased in a light, crispy exterior and have a nice tiny little bite of spice.

The flavor is like a sriracha BBQ sauce, and the slider buns don’t get as airy as the full burger buns.

Rating: Pulled Pork Sliders

In conclusion, while Max Burger may have a few misses on its menu, it certainly has its hits as well. You may need to navigate through the choices, but there’s a good chance you’ll find something that tickles your taste buds.
